  • 4. Personal User Subscription

      You may access our powerful people search database for your own personal use for a fee of £(price) on a monthly subscription basis, subject to our fair usage policy. Your account will be credited each month with (amount) searches.
    • 4.2
      All fees quoted include VAT at 20.00%.
    • 4.3
      You may periodically be offered discount offers and promotional incentives. Peopletracer Limited reserves the right to terminate these offers at any time without notice.
    • 4.4
      We reserve the right to regularly review our access charges and any increase in fees will be displayed on our website or via an e-mail announcement.
    • 4.5
      For the avoidance of doubt your subscription will be automatically renewed on a monthly basis.

  • 5. Personal User Subscription Cancellation

    • 5.1
      You may cancel your account at any time after the first day of your subscription by requesting a cancellation in the My Account area.
    • 5.2
      To prevent a renewal of your subscription we require cancellation requests to be submitted at least 1 day before your next payment date.
    • 5.3
      We are unable to accept verbal or emailed requests to cancel an account, a quick and easy cancellation process is provided from your My Account page.
    • 5.4
      Once your account has been officially cancelled, you will no longer be able to utilise any remaining credits in your account

  • 6. Fair Usage Policy

    • 6.1
      You are entitled to use the data provided on our website for your own personal use and not for a commercial purpose.
    • 6.2
      You may not sell or rent the information to any third parties whatsoever.
    • 6.3
      You are restricted from integrating this service into any other internet or online facility without written agreement from Peopletracer Limited.
    • 6.4
      We allow you to access our website on the understanding that information will not be used in a malicious or illegal manner.
    • 6.5
      We reserve the right to terminate any account holders without issuing a refund who we suspect have provided us with false personal details.
    • 6.6
      We reserve the right to terminate any account holders without issuing a refund who we suspect are utilising the service for any commercial purpose whatsoever, including a free or paid lookup service.
    • 6.7
      Any subscribers who we suspect are utilising the service for any commercial purpose whatsoever will be liable to a charge of £5.00 plus vat per distinct search, which will be deducted from the assigned credit card whenever possible. If we are unable to take payment by credit card, an invoice will be raised and sent to your registration e-mail address.
    • 6.8
      We reserve the right to terminate any account holders without issuing a refund who we suspect are continuously accessing the service from different browsers and IP addresses.
    • 6.9
      A maximum of 200 results can be provided with each people search request
    • 6.10
      We will provide you with (amount) credits per month for as long as your subscription remains active and any unused credits will rollover. If you cancel your subscription, you will no longer be able to utilise any remaining credits in your account.
    • 6.11
      We offer a credit top-up option if you need to purchase additional credits during your subscription period. (amount) credits can be purchased for £(price) via your My Account page (Option available only when logged in and subscribed).

  • 7. Licensing

    No licence of any intellectual property rights is granted to you as a result of your access to peopletracer.co.uk.

  • 8. Disclaimer

    Peopletracer.co.uk is provided by Peopletracer Limited on an "as is" basis and the site is accessed at your own risk. Peopletracer Limited and its associated content providers make considerable efforts to make search results as accurate as possible. However, we accept no responsibility for the accuracy or entirety of data contained in our databases.

  • 9. Key Dataset Access

    • 9.1
      Our database contains the entire edited versions of the 2003-2012 Electoral Roll, which all contain an "opt out" facility for those who did not wish their name to appear on the commercially available register. This data is updated on a monthly basis and access is permitted subject to our fair usage policy detailed in section 6.
    • 9.2
      Our database contains various datasets and search functionality, which we reserve the right to withdraw at any time and without notice at our discretion.

  • 10. Refund Policy

    • 10.1
      In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 the following directive relates to the exception to the right to cancel
      • (a) Unless the parties have agreed otherwise, the consumer will not have the right to cancel the contract by giving notice of cancellation pursuant to regulation 10 in respect of contracts
      • (b) For the supply of services if the supplier has complied with regulation 8(3) and performance of the contract has begun with the consumer's agreement before the end of the cancellation period applicable

      Your contract with Peopletracer Limited is deemed to commence when the first search is performed, and as such the above regulation applies and we do not offer the right to cancel once the first search has been made and therefore no refunds are given.

      It is your responsibility to ensure that you cancel your account as this is a monthly subscription service. No refunds will be given if you fail to cancel as per the instructions outlined in Section 5.
