About Missing People
Over recent years, our parent company, Tracesmart, has built a rewarding relationship with Missing People. Together we have become the charity's official search partners, offering practical and financial support.
Funded by donations, Missing People is an independent charity that offers a vital lifeline for people who have gone missing and those left behind. The charity provides round the clock emotional support and practical help to families throughout the duration of the disappearance - and offers young runaways or missing adults a messaging service so that they can let their family know that they are safe.
Missing People are campaigning for changes in legislation to improve rights of families of individuals who have gone missing; these families may also have to endure unnecessary financial and legal bureaucracy during an already emotionally difficult time.
Our commitment
We're committed to lending our support for the long term, donating a fixed annual investment while providing the charity's team of dedicated tracers with open access to our people tracing facility.
Our staff have also embraced the important work that Missing People undertakes. 15 team members, along with Digger - our trusty retriever - went to Regent's Park in London, to take part in Miles for Missing People, a 10K fun run. Our fundraising raised over £2,000 from the event, and we're working on ideas to continually assist our Charity of Choice.
