Friends reunited after 5 years with no contact

Person Tracing: Pauline

Person Found: Gladys

Circumstances Pauline needed help to locate her friend Gladys with whom she had suddenly lost contact with about 5 years ago. It was quite a mystery to Pauline when she didn't receive any replies to her letters from Gladys who had gone to live in Australia to be near her daughter and family.

Initial enquiries were made with Gladys' mutual friends and relatives in the UK and they all remarked that they too were worried about Gladys - she had always kept in touch even through 'bad times' such as the death of her husband, and as she was 87 years old, Pauline was fearing the worst!

Pauline knew that Gladys' daughter Linda had married here in the UK and had a German surname. This was confirmed by checking Peopletracer's online marriage index, which also gave the name of Linda's husband.

Searching Peopletracer.s online electoral roll provided contact details for Linda's husband and when contacted, they were able to put Pauline in touch with Gladys' family in Australia. Pauline was very relieved to be told that Gladys was well and currently living in the UK but they could only provide an incomplete address; a house name somewhere in the North East of England. Nevertheless, using Peopletracer.s powerful people search, Pauline was still able to find Gladys by searching for her name in 'North East' counties. Luckily, Pauline and Gladys were able to meet with only a few days to spare before Gladys was due to return to Australia.

Thanks to Peopletracer's fast online results, several friends and relatives had piece of mind in the knowledge that Gladys was fine and well.
